Frequently Asked Questions 

Who pays for the gas?

The first tank of gas is included. Any additional fuel will be purchased from a nearby marina on Lake Wylie and covered by guest(s).

 

Tubing/Towing?

Yes. You may bring your own watersports equipment or you are welcome to use Wylie Watersports' equipment. We have wakeboards, surf boards, tubes, and waterskis. We also have USCG approved life jackets that are required to be worn by minors and while participating in watersports.

Are food and drinks allowed?

Yes. You are welcome to bring snacks and beverages. Lake Wylie has a law that prohibits hard liquor. A cleaning fee may be issued if the boat is damaged from food/drinks. Please be mindful to bring boat-friendly snacks with minimal cleanup. No glass.

 

What are suggestions of things to bring?

Things that are fun to have on the boat – floats  (please be mindful of the float size and boat storage), sunscreen, sunglasses, towels, hats, fishing gear (proper fishing license required), water, food, and drinks, etc.

 

What is not allowed?

NO SMOKING, NO GLASS, NO GRILLS, NO DRUGS, NO LIQUOR, NO PETS

 

Are there restrooms available?

There are no restrooms on the boat. We can arrange several stops throughout the voyage at marinas or restaurants on the lake.

 

Where do I go to embark on your voyage?

We are located on Lake Wylie and offer various pickup locations around the lake, according to your location. Once your charter is scheduled, Captain Sunnye will contact you to arrange your pickup and drop-off location.
